PX Cortex — legal
Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 4, 2026
1. Overview
This Privacy Policy describes how Intechnic Corporation (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects information on pxcortex.com (the “Site”), including its interactive voice and video demonstrations. PX Cortex™ is a product of Intechnic Corporation. For information handled on the Site, Intechnic Corporation acts as the data controller.
Use of the PX Cortex platform itself, the commercial product, is governed by separate agreements and the platform’s own privacy documentation, not by this Policy.
2. What we collect
- Demo-request form: name, work email, company, and an optional message. Submitting the form is entirely voluntary.
- Interactive demo conversations: if you choose to start a voice or video conversation, your microphone audio and what you type are streamed in real time to the third-party AI services that power the demo. That real-time processing is what makes the demo work. Separately, our conversational-AI provider records and transcribes the conversation and stores it in our account, so that we can review and improve the quality of the demos. If you continue a conversation in the same visit, a portion of the earlier dialogue is carried forward as context so the assistant can pick up where you left off. The demos start only when you click, and your browser asks your permission before your microphone is used. The Site never records audio in the background, and closing or ending a session stops the capture. The Site never uses your camera. In a video demo, the video travels one way: you see an animated presenter, and nothing from your camera is requested, captured, or transmitted.
- Technical and usage data: standard server logs, including IP address and user agent, used for security and rate limiting. Demo-request submissions are also written to our server logs when they are received. We use aggregated, privacy-friendly usage analytics that do not use advertising cookies and do not track you across sites.
- Cookies: functional cookies only, for example the counters that apply fair-use limits to demo sessions. These hold only a date and a session count, expire within 24 hours, and are not used for advertising or cross-site tracking.
3. How we use it
- to respond to your demo request and communicate with you about PX Cortex, including an email notification to our team when you submit the form;
- to operate the interactive demos and apply fair-use limits;
- to secure the Site, including anti-spam, rate limiting, and abuse prevention;
- to review and improve the quality of our demos;
- to understand aggregate Site usage and improve the experience.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising or for their own marketing purposes. We do not use what you say or type in a demo to train our own AI models. The providers listed in Section 4 process demo conversations under our accounts with them and under their own terms, which are published on their websites.
4. Who processes it
We use service providers that process information on our behalf to run the Site and its demos:
- Vercel: Site hosting, server logs, and privacy-friendly aggregated analytics.
- ElevenLabs: conversational-AI voice processing for the voice demos. Your demo audio and text are processed in real time, and conversation recordings and transcripts are stored in our provider account.
- HeyGen and LiveKit: avatar video streaming for the video demos.
- Cloudflare (Turnstile): spam protection on the demo-request form, when enabled.
- Resend: email delivery of demo-request form submissions to our team.
- Our own PX Cortex platform infrastructure: hosted with Amazon Web Services in the United States. It sets up the video-avatar demo sessions and passes along the conversation context described in Section 2.
- Our customer-relationship system: receives demo-request form submissions so our team can follow up.
We engage these providers to process information for the purposes described in this Policy, and we do not authorize any of them to use your information for their own marketing.
5. International transfers
The Site is intended for visitors in the United States, and our service providers process data in the United States. If you access the Site from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where data-protection rules may differ from those in your country.
Where a transfer safeguard is required for personal data originating in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on the transfer mechanisms our providers make available, such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses and the UK Addendum. If you would like to know which mechanism applies to information you have given us, contact privacy@intechnic.com.
6. Retention
We keep information only as long as we need it, on the following schedule:
- Demo-request form submissions (your name, work email, company, and message): kept while we are in contact with you, and no longer than 24 months after our last contact with you. Last contact means the most recent time you and someone at our company exchanged a message about your request. If your organization becomes a customer, the information is governed from that point by the agreement with your organization rather than by this schedule.
- Demo conversation recordings and transcripts: destroyed within 90 days of the session. Recordings and transcripts are held by our conversational-AI provider under our account, and we set the 90-day limit on that account. Where any part of a demo conversation reaches our own systems, including the context carried forward during your visit, the same 90-day limit applies.
- Server logs, including the log entries created when a form is submitted: no longer than 30 days.
- Fair-use cookies: expire within 24 hours. The session count exists only inside the cookie in your browser, so when the cookie expires nothing is retained.
- Backup copies of everything else: removed on our standard backup rotation, no later than 90 days after the information is deleted from our active systems.
Where the law requires us to keep information longer, or where we need it to resolve a dispute or enforce our agreements, we keep only what is necessary for that purpose and for no longer than that purpose requires. This exception does not extend the 90-day deadline for demo conversation recordings and transcripts, or the destruction deadline for voice data in Section 7, unless we are legally compelled to preserve specific information.
You can ask us to delete your information sooner. See Section 8.
7. Voice data notice (Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act and similar state laws)
To the extent the voice demos collect biometric identifiers or biometric information as defined by the Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act (740 ILCS 14/1 et seq.) or a comparable state biometric privacy law, we provide this notice: (a) voice data is collected solely to provide the voice and video demo features and to review and improve their quality; (b) voice audio is transmitted to our conversational-AI provider for processing and is not used by us or by that provider to identify specific individuals by voice characteristics; (c) voice recordings and any data derived from them will be permanently destroyed when the purpose for collecting them has been satisfied, and in no event later than 90 days from the session. That 90-day deadline is the same one stated in Section 6, it is the only deadline that applies to this data, and it is shorter than the maximum period the Illinois statute would otherwise permit; and (d) we will not sell, lease, trade, or otherwise profit from your biometric data.
The demos begin only when you choose to start one, and your browser asks for your permission before your microphone is used. By starting a voice or video demo, you consent to the collection and processing of voice data as described in this section. If you do not consent, do not start a voice or video demo. You may withdraw your consent at any time by ending the session, by declining or revoking microphone permission in your browser, and by contacting us at privacy@intechnic.com to request deletion of any recording or transcript already collected.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to: access your personal information; correct inaccurate data; delete your data, subject to legal retention requirements; receive your data in a portable format; object to or restrict certain processing; and withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
If you live in a U.S. state with a comprehensive consumer privacy law, including California, those rights are available to you on the terms that law provides. California residents in particular have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use it (Sections 2 through 4), the right to delete and to correct personal information, and the right to non-discrimination for exercising your rights. We do not sell personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
EEA and UK residents also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority, and to object to processing based on legitimate interests.
To exercise any right, contact privacy@intechnic.com. We will verify your identity using information appropriate to the sensitivity of the request and respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. Where applicable law provides a right to appeal a decision on your request, you may submit an appeal to privacy@intechnic.com within forty-five (45) days of our decision.
9. Your choices
- The demos are optional. The Site is fully browsable without a microphone, and you can stop a demo at any time. Your camera is never used.
- The functional cookies are used only to apply fair-use limits to the demos. You can block cookies in your browser settings; the demos will still work.
- Because we do not sell personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, there is no sale or sharing for you to opt out of, and we honor browser privacy signals accordingly.
10. Security
We use commercially reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect information collected on the Site, including encryption in transit (TLS) and hosting with established cloud providers. No method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Children
The Site is a business product demonstration and is not intended for individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If notified, we will delete such information promptly.
12. Changes and contact
We may update this Policy; the “Last updated” date above reflects the latest version. If we make a material change, we will update that date and post the revised Policy here before the change takes effect.
